Our department is oriented in providing platform and skills for our students to prepare for domestic as well as overseas distinguished companies. SIRA is the only department in Korea offering 100% railroad engineering courses in English. The syllabus is carefully designed by integrating courses in a wide field of railroad engineering, logistics, and transport management, thus the graduating students have a wider opportunity for employment in various railway fields.

Our students aim for overseas employment by joining foreign multinational companies, and overseas branches of leading domestic companies. As a convergence of various domains of the railroad industry, our students can achieve top-notch employment opportunities not only in railroad engineering but also in many related fields like construction, IT, traffic control, etc.
