연구실소개 및 연구분야 (About the LAB & Research Field)
In 2017, in collaboration with the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Korea, the department of SIRA at Woosong University established its Smart Structure Design Lab (SSDL). The lab is capable of designing smart structures which find application in many branches of industry including railway, tunneling and robotics. Additionally, the facilities at SSDL are amenable for collaboration in other areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and smart materials. Students at SIRA, as well as those in other engineering departments, are welcome to use the facilities at SSDL in order to help them advance in their fields.
